When I was a teenager, my parents allowed me to use their SLR camera and the photography bug caught me. Back in the time that was a PRAKTICA MTL5 - nothing digital yet completely analog. I started to explore the world of light, experimented with dark room image processing and got caught in the dimensions of Macro and Black & White Photography.
As a biologist, I got interested in Insect Macro Photography, but realised quickly that I can't afford this hobby with traditional analog photography (even though I switched to slide film photography). One of my professors showed me a second hand store for camera equipment and I finally bought my first DSLR.
Today, I am not travelling without my camera. Always in search for the right moment, the perfect light.
